Pool Sharks is an excellent online billiards game that stands out for both its gameplay and its well executed graphics (totally designed in 3D).
The first thing that you have to do to play is register for a free account with which you can access the game rooms. Once you are inside, you can select between two main game modes—Pool (the ageless billiard game) and Snooker. In every mode you will find more options (8 ball, 9 ball, 15 ball).
Once you have found an opponent among the many players from around the world that connect to Pool Sharks you can start the game. You will find the pool stick usability to be very comfortable, combining your keyboard and mouse to make it more intuitive.
All your Pool Sharks games come with the incentive, thanks to public rankings, that in order to level up you will be obligated to rack up a number of wins under your belt. Additionally, while you are playing you will have a tiny chat window to talk with your opponents.
Finally, what is also very interesting is Pool Sharks’ option for playing for real money by filling in the form set up for it in the bottom right corner of the interface.
Furthermore, in future versions the option to play tournaments online will be added.
